This month, toiletries brand Shokubutsu is the brand which has achieved the highest uplift in its Ad Awareness over the past month.

The rise coincides with its new ‘Shokubutsu Pink’ campaign, in line with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The ad promotes that for every bottle of Shokubutsu products purchased, 10 cents will be donated to the National Cancer Society Malaysia.

Launched two weeks ago, the advertisement features Malaysian actress and TV presenter Yasmin Hani. The ad portrays her with her family and educates the public on how to check for early detection of breast cancer.

YouGov BrandIndex data shows that Shokubutsu’s latest advertisements have captured Malaysians’ attention. Shokubutsu’s Ad Awareness score (where someone has seen an advert for the brand in the past two weeks) has risen from +18 to +30 in the past month, jumping 12 points.

Malaysian consumers are not only noticing Shokubutsu’s adverts, but the brand has also seen an increase in attention, with their score on this metric jumping from +22 to +27. The increase of +5 indicates that more people have been paying attention and talking about the brand over the past month.
