Food and groceries delivery company Talabat registered the highest increase in Ad Awareness during February of all brands YouGov tracks in UAE.

According to data from YouGov BrandIndex, which tracks daily perceptions toward various brands, the delivery company saw an uplift of 10.1 percentage points throughout the month.

Talabat’s recent spike in Ad Awareness could be attributed to its new ‘Your Starbucks Delivered’ campaign. The brand launched its Starbucks delivery service across all seven Emirates last month, on the back of its success as the official online food delivery provider at the Expo 2020. Other than ordering food and beverages from the brand, Talabat also offers limited-edition Starbucks merchandise.

Over the course of this period, Talabat has also registered an uptick in Consideration scores, which measure the share of people who would consider purchasing from a brand when they’re next in the market. The brand’s score rose from 15.1 to 18.4, an indication that the campaign connected with audiences. 

Methodology: BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. A brand’s Ad Awareness score is based on the question: “Which of the following consumer brands have you seen an advertisement for in the past two weeks?” and delivered as a percentage. The data is based on the interviews of adult residents of the United Arab Emirates aged 18+ between January 28 and February 27, 2022. Learn more about BrandIndex.
