NEW YORK: According to internal sources, a major management makeover is brewing at Interpublic Media, the division that coordinates IPG's three global media networks: Initiative, Universal McCann and Magna Global.

IPG moles have already squeaked that holding group ceo Michael Roth is less than "happy" with IM ceo Mark Rosenthal who - after little more than a year with the media group - may already be leafing the magazines in the departure lounge after taking medical leave this summer.

The situation is further exacerbated by the departure, announced Tuesday, of cfo Terri Santisi who joined IM only ten months back. She helmed the unit during Rosenthal's medical leave but her stint reportedly left Roth and the IPG board unconvinced as to her suitability for the ceo role.

Santisi is an entertainment industry financial executive of twenty years standing, who prior to joining IPG led the media and entertainment practice of accounting firm KPMG.

She will quit the IPG maelstrom on November 1 for the calmer waters of sports and entertainment marketing company IMG where she assumes the role of evp, chief financial and administrative officer.

Further announcements by Interpublic are expected shortly.
