Time Warner-owned CNN News Group is next week expected to announce a series of job losses as it seeks to reorganize its TV and web activities.
The group’s 4,000 staff were warned in December to expect “aggressive” changes to the company’s structure and workforce in the new year. Between 500 and 1000 jobs are thought to be at risk.
CNN is seeking to integrate its disparate news-gathering activities into one unit, in order to avoid confusion between the different services.
