US-headquartered web technology giant Cisco Systems is talking to several agencies about its (estimated) £20 million pan-European creative account, a review which, it is thought, will broaden to encompass the firm’s £80m global duties.
Srimath Agalawatte, European director of marketing communications for Cisco, was giving little away: “A number of agencies are talking to us about a number of different things,” he said.
The company is believed to be drawing up a shortlist, with a preference for an agency within a strong network. However, an increasingly vague Agalawatte would only comment: “We're not really looking for any type of agency specifically.”
The current incumbent on the account is US shop GMO/Hill Holliday.
