NEW YORK: The Mouse House has unveiled a duo of mobile deals with US telco Sprint Nextel and its rival Verizon Communications.

The former is to offer Disney-ABC television content to its subscribers, while Verizon provides a retooled branded mobile service with Disney sports channel ESPN, which axed its solo effort last year amid poor subscriber numbers.

The Sprint agreement will allow viewers to watch full-length episodes of primetime shows, to be supported by advertising later in the year.

ESPN MVP will include ads from the outset, providing a customizable feed of sports scores, news and video highlights.
