STOCKHOLM - The world's fifth-largest mobile-handset maker reported that net profit jumped to €109 million ($131.9m; £75.3m) from €32 million a year earlier.
Sony Ericsson said pretax profit more than doubled to €151m from €70m. Sales rose 55% to €1.99 billion from €1.3bn, thanks largely to the popularity of its Walkman-branded music phones and delivery of its advanced handsets in Japan.
