EDINBURGH - Iconic Australian lager brand Foster's has been acquired in Europe by Scottish brewing giant S&N for £308 million ($536m; €44.4m).
S&N has brewed, packaged and marketed Foster's in Europe under licence from Foster's Group since 1995 and accounts for some 82% of the brand's annual sales volume of nine million hectolitres.
