Executive summary

Tefal was falling behind and needed to drive sales for its electric grill, the OptiGrill+, in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

We had to focus on a new audience, moving from housewives to the biggest consumers of meat in the region: Arab males.

In a region where temperatures during summer can reach up to 50ºC, the only time consumers can have BBQs is during the winter, which is too short a sales season. Tefal saw this as an opportunity to give its customers the perfect excuse to grill all year long, no matter what the weather.
