Online consumption in South Africa has fallen for the first time, according to the latest data from GlobalWebIndex. Despite growing by nearly two hours between 2012 and 2017, time spent online dipped five minutes last year. Total online consumption equalled eight hours and 25 minutes per day in 2018, marginally above the regional average.
