Twitter has continued to record strong user growth, according to the latest company reports. The platform added five million daily users (+3.7%) in Q2 2019, taking total levels to 139 million. This continues the quicker user growth recorded in the first quarter of 2019.
The company reports that this was a result of machine learning delivering more relevant content to users.
Most of this growth was driven by international markets, which rose by five million (+4.8%) to 110 million overall. While the United States has been stagnant, it continues to add one million users each quarter since Q4 2018.
