16–39 year-olds in Australia are watching significantly more linear TV content as a result of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, according to data from ThinkTV Australia and OzTAM. Between weeks eight and 11 (16th of February to 14th of March) and week 13 (22th to 28th March), the all day (02:00-02:00) daily audience size for 16–39 year-olds grew the most, up 36.2%.
Across the five city metros analysed, the all day daily audience reached 1.7m in week 13. For 16–39 year-olds this equalled 0.3m and 0.6m for 25–54 year-olds.
