Mass Bail Out Summary
The Mass Bail Out was a campaign led by Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights with the support of several grassroots organizations in New York. The aim of the Mass Bail Out was to shine a critical light on the injustice of New York's bail system by releasing women and children from Rikers Island.
Kivvit secured vast earned media coverage on the Mass Bail Out in local, regional and national outlets, including the New York Times, MSNBC, and the New York Daily News. At the same time, Kivvit provided the campaign with critical rapid response and crisis communications support, defending the mission of the campaign against strong opposition attacks in the media.
