Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), the government funded organisation, evolved and redefined its role as a contemporary cultural force in its community in Canada.

This past year has been unlike any other in modern history, and like many other organizations the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) was forced to close its doors for nearly twelve months. A long-standing cultural institution in Toronto, the museum builds and shares collections that create knowledge, inspire learning, encourage gathering and spark exchange on topics within the intersecting worlds of art, culture and nature. The past year has demonstrated the important role that a Museum plays - bringing communities together to help understand, inspire, enlighten and comfort during uncertain and troubling times.
