Non-profit, Rape Crisis, turned an ordinary piece of newspaper into a weapon against rapists in South Africa.

Objectives

The reality is that most women are raped by someone they know. Not some hooded stranger in an alleyway. Our goal was to make the countless articles of rape mean something again, and empower survivors to get the justice they deserve. We needed to put Rape Crisis in the spotlight, generate earned media, and drive people to their help line where they can find or offer help, and further establish Rape Crisis as trusted means of support.
