Following extraordinary growth driven by the Popeyes' Chicken Sandwich launch in 2019 - taking Popeyes to a historic sales peak of $486,898,661 in November - the last month of that year brought a concerning sales drop, to $381,094,448. That's a 22.7% drop in sales.
The Sandwich and the hype around it had been remarkable, but just the start. Popeyes had growth goals in 4 key areas:
