Strategy
Objective
During the country's curfew to contain the pandemic, McDonald's wanted to stimulate its in-store traffic, particularly drive-through. While online delivery orders had increased massively, there was still a shortfall following the drop in outlet sales. The fall threatened the viability of physical stores. The task was to engage with the people still driving around and bring them to the restaurants in Saudi Arabia's Central and Eastern regions.
