In 1974 actor-comedian Bill Cosby commenced his tenure as spokesperson for Jell-O with the "Kids Love Pudding" campaign. In an ongoing series of campaigns over the next 13 years, Cosby pitched Jell-O puddings to children and their mothers, who became enamored of his quirky yet intelligent and sincere personality.
