WorldPantry.com has been in the e-commerce industry for more than 20 years. Its success is largely a result of its ability to change with the times.

When David Miller founded WorldPantry.com in 1998, he saw an emerging demand for specialty food delivery. E-commerce as we know it was still in its infancy – Amazon had gone public just a year prior, and was still known primarily for book sales.

In 2023, e-commerce has become an indispensable part of modern life – and only seems to be growing. According to Diffusion’s 2022 Direct-to-Consumer Purchase Intent Index, nearly six in 10 consumers made a purchase from a DTC brand in 2021.
