At the Media Research Summit (London, June 2018) Sophie Harding, Trends & Insights Director at Mindshare, shared five key findings from the agency’s latest research. Based on consumer insights gathered from a mixed methodology approach, these trends are set to become increasingly influential.
1. Get snappy
There is a “growing use of image recognition for quicker and easier interactions,” Harding reported. This trend is being driven by two factors: consumers are taking more photos on their smartphones and there are ongoing advances in machine learning techniques.
