American Greetings brings analog emotion to digital marketing

At his organization's 2017 Brand Masters Conference, Bob Liodice - the President/CEO of the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) - provided a list of best practices for modern marketers.

His 12 recommendations included state-of-the-art standards such as "Deliver Passion to Your People", "Bring Your Consumers into Your Brand", and "Relentlessly Embrace Innovation".

Liodice, in fact, had another encomium - one that was based more on the emotional power of advertising as opposed to any technology or platform.

"Across the spectrum of great campaigns out there," the ANA chief offered, "there is one that really makes a difference in my mind, that touches my heart and my soul - a campaign that raised the bar."
