How Vodafone inspired farmers to choose life over suicide

Vodafone, a telecommunications brand, launched a campaign based off of Airbnb, titled Farmer BnB, which got travellers to stay with farmers for an authentic village experience to encourage financial stability and prevent suicide among farmers in India.

The service provides daily information to farmers on weather forecasts, real-time wholesale market (mandi) rates, and updates on government schemes. But the truth was that this wasn't enough to solve the real problem that farmers...
