Global inflation is infiltrating markets and categories all over the world, with beauty trends in Asia seeing specific consumer responses to this economic pressure. The beauty category is usually relatively free from inflationary pressure and privileged by selective investment behaviours but given the push-pull effect of higher prices and small indulgences, consumers tend to enhance selective investment to best satisfy their personal demands.
