Poverty and malnutrition are two of the most serious problems in Peru. It is estimated that 3 out of every 10 Peruvians do not have enough food to survive on a daily basis.
The pandemic caused millions of people to lose their income, exacerbating the food crisis and making Peru the second hardest hit country in Latin America by the health crisis.
Against this background, the Food Bank, an organization that fights to eradicate hunger in the country, must take action. However, in Peru there is no food donation culture.
