Audi, the automaker, plans to introduce virtual reality (VR) into many new vehicles from June 2022, a move that hints at the future direction of cars as a hub for entertainment and, potentially, commerce.
Beginning this summer, passengers in the backseat of numerous freshly-minted Audi offerings – like its A4, A5 and e-tron models – will be able to put on a set of VR glasses and access a variety of games, movies and interactive content.
