Estimating market turnover for the market research industry in Asia is not so straightforward as only five or six market research societies provide Esomar with data and even among some of these countries' data there are reservations about accuracy (in particular that of China).

Most of the information collected comes from informal sources, e.g. exemployees of market research companies combined with data filed with regulatory authorities. Nevertheless I believe that the estimates are relatively sound with one or two exceptions.
