Ad budgets growing at strongest rate on record
Marketing budgets are expanding at a rate never seen before, following deep cuts during the initial wave of the coronavirus outbreak in 2020, according to WARC Data's Global Marketing Index (GMI).
Why it matters
The coronavirus pandemic caused a rapid cut in advertising budgets, with the steepest contraction visible in May. Advertisers have invested more as the immediate uncertainty eased and the investment rebound has continued to accelerate this year.
