Marketers optimistic about voice but investment lacking

An overview of North American marketer opinion on the importance of voice assistants in the next 3-5 years and their current experience with voice assistants.

Marketers are optimistic about voice assistants, according to the latest research from Voicebot and Voices.com. Nearly two-thirds (62.8%) of marketers in the US and Canada think voice assistants will be an 'extremely' or 'significantly' important marketing channel in the next 3-5 years.

However, only one-third (34.2%) of marketers have actually launched a voice app or plan to do so. Just one-tenth (9.9%) have current plans for developing the technology this year or next. Instead, one-half (48.9%) say they have no current plans.
