Twitter reported its largest ever increase in daily users in Q2 2020 but advertising revenue saw its quickest decline ever as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, according to the latest company reports.
The social platform added 20m daily users in Q2 2020, taking the total to 186m. This quarter-on-quarter growth of 12% is the first double-digit increase ever. The platform has added 34m new daily users in the first half of 2020 alone.
