Podcast ad campaigns can deliver a return on adspend (ROAS) of $2.42, according to an analysis of 530 campaigns from more than 230 brands by attribution company Podsights.
Campaigns from retail (3.36%), personal finance (2.56%) and credit card (2.53%) advertisers are most successful in getting listeners to visit the brand website.
The average site visit conversion rate across all campaigns and industries was 1.13%.
However, it's advertisers in the human resources, news & politics and events & attractions categories that are most successful in generating sales from listeners who visit the brand website.
