Three-fifths (60%) of Brazilian consumers believe their personal and household finances will be impacted by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak for at least four months, according to research from McKinsey & Company in April.
One-quarter (25%) say they will be impacted for at least seven months and one-tenth (10%) for over a year. In contrast, one-quarter (27%) say the impact will last between two to three months. Additional research shows that two-fifths (38%) of Brazilians have delayed large purchases during the outbreak.
