The aim of this article is to see, through the eyes of advertising, the socio-economic transformations which took place in England during the period 1720-1760. From an analysis of the advertisements carried out in other studies it was concluded that (1.) Advertising was one of the factors which made the Industrial Revolution possible1; (2.)
