Unusually perhaps, this paper is about plagiarism within advertising. Most of us are taught early on in our careers to revere originality in advertising; plagiarism never enters the conversation. We turn a blind eye when the 'inspiration' comes from popular culture - that doesn't count, no matter how many times we use a Fast Show/Jean Luc Besson edit in a creative presentation. But blatant, unashamed plagiarism of advertising itself, surely we couldn't get away with that?
