The value of programmatic video and banner (excluding social) ad trade is expected to rise 25% to $25.4bn worldwide this year, according to new data from MAGNA Global. Some 48% ($12.1bn) of this money will be transacted in the US, while an additional 13.5% ($3.4bn) will be spent in China and 6.5% ($1.7bn) in Japan. It follows that North America is the largest region for programmatic spend, at $12.5bn, with Asia-Pacific the second-largest region on $6.8bn.
