Connected TV (CTV) ad revenue is forecast to reach $25.9bn in 2023, and grow 10.4% by 2028, according to the latest GroupM global mid-year forecast.
Global TV ad revenue is forecast to be $133.6bn with a 1.2% year-on-year decline while CTV is forecast to increase 13.2%, reaching $25.9bn. GroupM notes that “viewership is shifting to connected TV”, and CTV ad revenue is forecast to reach $42.5bn in 2028.
