Digital ad spend in Europe increased 9.8% in 2022, reaching €86bn (£74.7bn), according to the latest AdEx benchmark study released by IAB Europe.
Despite the geopolitical tension and economic headwinds in Europe, the continent’s digital ad market gained €7.7bn (£6.68bn) in 2022. The majority of European ad spend remains concentrated in top markets including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, which collectively claimed more than two-thirds (69%) of total digital ad spend in Europe.
