China’s ad market is set to bounce back from a COVID-hit economy and to reach 884 billion CNY ($139bn) this year, according to the latest advertising spend forecast figures by WARC Media.
In 2022, China’s ad market recorded a negative one percent year-on-year growth as the country grappled with its economic downturn resulting from lockdown measures and mass testing as a result of its zero-COVID policy. As China reopens, the mainland ad market is forecasted to grow 5% this year.
