Tencent, a technology and entertainment conglomerate, launched the Small Repair Guide initiative, China's first map of repair shops, to display the geographical location and services of more than 500k repair shops, ensuring convenience and sustainability.

Small repair shops specializing in items such as shoes, clothing, bicycles, and phones are the fundamental micro-businesses in Chinese society. They serve as an essential link between residents and communities in the Chinese economy. In cities and regions with many of these small shops, residents often experience a stronger sense of a vibrant community. However, with the development of the economy and society, as well as changes in the consumer mindset and urban management concepts, repair shops have gradually disappeared from the public view, making it difficult to find them when needed....
