Mercy Ships, an NGO, built the world's largest purpose-built civilian hospital ship to deliver free, world-class healthcare services and raise international awareness, improve perception, and reinforce the brand's relationships with governments and stakeholders in Africa.

Introduction

Mercy Ships and APO Group have been working together since January 2022 to

raise international awareness of Mercy Ship's mission, vision and activities on the African continent. This was achieved through generating media attention on several key events in Dakar, Senegal that Mercy Ships organised, in 2022.

Mercy Ships uses hospital ships to deliver free, world-class healthcare services, capacity building, and sustainable development to those with little access in the developing world.
