Bamburi Cement: Common external tariff on Clinker

Bamburi Cement PLC, a cement producer, enlisted the help of P&L Consulting Ltd to provide factual information around the clinker debate in Kenya to counter and correct all of the inaccuracies that had been reported by the media.

Opening Statement

P&L Consulting Ltd (P&L) was in August 2021 retained by members of the grinders forum for a four- month period to unpack the complex clinker debate in Kenya, through precise key messages that would help the media and the public get an understanding of the issue. These members included; Bamburi Cement Plc, Savanna Cement Ltd, Ndovu Cement Ltd, and RAI Cement Ltd.
