Online retail platform Meesho ran a data-driven business-to-business campaign to grow its seller base 160% and increase Top 3 spontaneous awareness (T3SA) from 20% to 60% in India.

The marketing objective

India has about 630 lakh Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). But out of these, only a mere 10 lakh (∼1.6%) run their businesses online.

Funded by the likes of Sequoia Capital, Meta, and SoftBank, Meesho is a fast-growing homegrown eCommerce brand #BuildingForBharat, working on bringing India's Bazaars (Local Marketplaces) online to give wings to their vision of democratizing eCommerce in India - a country where unorganized retail accounts for ∼85% of the shopping sector.
