INTRODUCTION

The present study questions the existing paradigms and shows the reality about third age individuals. With this information, we want to sensitize marketing and research managers and the population in general about the importance and the proportional growth that elder people represent in societies worldwide, with the aim of eliciting a deeper and more realistic interest towards individuals in this segment and the realities of their life.
