If someone were to come along and invent a medium that could go any-where with you and keep you informed and entertained while you performed your day to day activities like driving and working wouldn't that be a breakthrough? The medium is already here and it certainly has been rediscovered. Radio racked up some $15billion in station sales in '96 and the numbers are still being tallied for an even more robust '97.
Why all the attention to radio? Wasn't it supposed to be a 'mature' product, nice...
