STRATEGY AND TARGETING

For many businesses, 'sustainability' is a fluffy word that adds an extra zero to the cost of their new office. We needed to target companies where sustainability, the environment and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) are high on the agenda, in industries such as energy and tobacco. We sent our mailer directly to key CSR managers, cutting out the middle-men to ensure that our message went straight to the people holding the purse strings. We knew response wouldn't necessarily be immediate – the average office refurbishment purchase cycle is a whopping seven years. So we needed to leave an unforgettable mark on their minds.
