The Canadian Advertising Research Foundation (CARF) is a non-profit organization whose prime focus is advertising, communications and media research.
CARF alerts its members to developments in these areas and, as an independent industry body, assists them in evaluating media and advertising research methods and studies. Key to this is its publication a quarterly CARF Newsletter, from which original articles feature on Warc.
CARF operates under a Federal Charter granted in 1949 when it was founded jointly by the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) and the Institute of Communications and Advertising (ICA).
