NEW YORK: A 37-year career at Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide is set to end in December when Shelly Lazarus (60) steps down as the network's ceo. She has helmed the global agency since 1996, and is credited with its global expansion, especially in non-traditional marketing businesses.

Her shoes will be filled by Miles Young (53), chairman of O&M's Asia Pacific region. He is already a member of the agency network's main board.
