DELHI: Associated Newspapers, owner of the UK's Daily Mail title, has today (Friday) launched a new compact daily in Dehli, branded Mail Today.
The newspaper, published in conjunction with media conglomerate India Today Group, will feature a blend of news, entertainment, travel and fashion, alongside a section focusing on women's issues.
Says ITG chairman/editor-in-chief Aroon Purie: "We have started this newspaper to make a difference and to revive old journalism.
"A new middle class has evolved over the years, which believes in a fair justice system. The newspaper would cater to this middle class."
