The loss by Bates USA West of the £160 million (€177.56m; £109.83m) Hyundai Motor America account, announced in WAMN Tuesday, impacted immediately on Cordiant Communications’ share price.

This slid on the London Stock Exchange by 4.71% to £0.91but by 10.45 this morning (Wednesday) had recovered to £0.95.

“A cornerstone of Cordiant,” was chairman Michael Bungey’s one-time description of the Hyundai account.
