SINGAPORE: The number of entries to this year's Agency of the Year awards, the 17th to be held in association with Campaign Asia-Pacific, has doubled.

Overall, more than 300 entries from across the region have been received, and Southeast Asia has submitted the largest number of entries, at 85.

Meanwhile, candidates from Greater China and Australia/New Zealand account for 75 and 51 respectively.

This year's event, which will be held at the St. Regis in Singapore on 14 December, will see the introduction of a new parent company award, to be based on results in the sub-regional and regional categories as audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Media and creative agency finalists will be individually notified on 18 November, with shortlisted agencies in the Media Agency Network of the Year and Creative Network of the Year categories invited to make live presentations to judges in Singapore on 25 November.
