HOLLYWOOD: Michael Eisner, chairman/ceo of Walt Disney before he was shoehorned out by dissident shareholders in September 2005, has struck a deal in which News Corporation's MySpace will air his new online drama, Prom Queen.

With each 'webisode' lasting just ninety seconds the Eisner epic will not demand a long attention span from its viewers - heralding, some fear, the shape of things to come in pea-brain entertainment.

However, NewsCorp is unlikely to be disappointed in its hope that Prom Queen will grab eyeballs from Google's YouTube.

MySpace remains silent about the Eisner deal, struck just one week after NewsCorp and NBC Universal unveiled plans for an online video platform.
